How much is too much?

Monitoring portion size seems to be one of the simplest concepts of eating right but it actually may be the hardest of all to follow.  The food industry has made it difficult for us to make the right decisions regarding portion control.  Studies have shown that over the last 20 years, there has been a dramatic increase in portion sizes.  Because of this, we no longer have a good grasp on how much is too much.  The hardest part of this idea is that humans are naturally stimulus-bound eaters—which means that our first instinct is to finish everything we see in front of us.
